Ben Blacker

Ben Blacker is the Managing Director of Blacker Consulting and brings more than 20 years of experience working with financial institutions, accounting firms, real estate agencies, and equipment suppliers across Australia — and more recently, internationally. His passion for building a boutique consulting firm is evident in his unmatched industry knowledge, dedication to service, and the deeply embedded relationships he maintains with his clients.

Since completing his senior schooling in 2002, Ben has continuously studied while working full time. He earned a Bachelor of Business before going on to complete a Master of Business Administration, majoring in Finance.

Ben began his career in frontline banking as a teller. He quickly gravitated towards lending, progressing to roles such as branch manager, relationship manager for high-value portfolios, and operations manager for one of the largest automotive finance teams in the country.

Throughout his career, Ben recognised a recurring gap in the market: many business owners lacked a clear understanding of how financiers assess businesses, what key risk mitigants are needed in challenging situations, and the value of surrounding themselves with the right advisors — from finance brokers to business consultants. With this insight, Ben set out to become the trusted advisor every business needs — someone clients could rely on wholeheartedly.

He has a deep commitment to supporting clients across key industries, including transport, civil construction, manufacturing and wholesale, services to mining, and agriculture.
